They are sweetest after a light frost. They love rich soil, good moisture and a cooler climate. (For those with a warm summer they are sweetest grown as a fall crop). Please note that these plants have been on a truck and in a dark box before reaching you, so we encourage you to open the boxes and harden the plants off before placing in the garden.
