We require Sierra Nevada Contracted Dairies to have a year-round rational grazing program where the cows are out grazing year-round. However, the cows are supplemented with a feed ration while they are being milked. This feed ration would include organic corn and soy, this is a small portion while they are being milk a majority of their diet is fresh grass, almond hulls, and organic hay.
