Description: Celeriac, also known as Celery Root, is the unsung hero of the vegetable world, knobble, odd-shaped root has a subtle, celery-like flavor, with nutty overtones. Try it as mash, grated raw in a salad, or grated and fried like hash browns.  Note: We do our best to ship quality produce to Alaska and Hawaii, but due to unknown conditions at the barge lines, we cannot guarantee the quality on arrival. Directions: To Prepare it: It requires a fair amount of peeling to reveal its creamy-colored flesh. Using a sharp knife,simply lop off the top and bottom so that it sits flat on your cutting board and work your knife down the sides to remove the knobs and roots.
