$49.00 Original price was: $49.00.$14.70Current price is: $14.70.
Description
Description: Please Note: All Appliances are warrantied through manufacturer only! This interchangeable auger now gives you the option of milling all nuts, large beans (limas, great northerns, etc.), soft grains, (oats, soft wheat, etc.) and it is also excellent for coffee. (Does not make nut butter, just powders the nuts.) Use the large auger to mill corn, legumes, and peas. The pronounced ridges on the large auger grab larger grains and push them into the grinding plates. WHAT CAN I GRIND IN MY COUNTRY LIVING MILL Many new Country Living Grain Mill owners are concerned, understandably, about what they can grind in their new mills. The mill was specifically designed for small, dry grain such as wheat, rice, spelt, rye, millet and like grains. Using your adjustment knob, you can grind a variety of textures, ranging from cracked to fine flour. Beyond that, there is so much variation in moisture and oil content in nuts, beans and other grains (such as corn) that the only answer is to experiment. You will not damage the mill trying to grind any kind of nuts, beans or grains. Nuts tend to be too oily to turn to powder. You may find you have to remove the rotating plate for cleaning if your material is too moist or too oily. Using the large nut and bean auger, many people have had success with different varieties of beans and corn. We are often asked if soy beans can be ground in the mill, and the answer, again, is “It depends on the variety”. Some people have had success and some have not. One tip: You can grind soybeans if you toss a small number in with another grain, such as wheat. Summary: This interchangeable auger now gives you the option of milling nuts, large beans, soft grains, and it is also excellent for coffee.
